Connie Hurley, Faolan Lykoi, and Desiree Bobby (Beeblebrox) are breeding DBE Lykoi from DBE outcoss cats derived from the Topaz breed developed by Iryna Merzlenko, Nikital cattery, Ukraine. The five Topaz cats used to introduce the DBE trait included Mamba, Blot, Yannah and Tiaga. Some of the notable DBE Lykoi breeding cats are "Faolan Don't Cross the Streams" aka Egon (blue bicolour DBE Lykoi male), Ming (odd-eyed female DBE tabby outcross) and Azure (DBE bicolour outcross female). They also breed polydactyl Lykoi.
